My Apartment By Ben Kweller

You hear the following essential question asked all the time; “Who’s going to replace artists like The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, or The Doors?!?!” just to name a few.  Those of you who follow me on last.fm know that classic rock is basically all I listen to (Although I a am very open to suggestions and different genres).  However, I have recently been getting into newer and more “underground” artists like Ben Kweller who I just recently posted a video of.  Now after months of exploring, I had an epiphany.  Rock isn’t dead.  Other genres are overpowering it such as hip hop, rap, and R&B.  But artists still continue to create the “good old” music that we all know and love; its just a lot harder to find.  So the moral of this article is that there is a future for music, YA JUST GOTTA PUT IN THE TIME!   

He seems to have a nice modest following but I really enjoy his stuff.  I just recently discovered him (His name is Ben Kweller BTW) through a friend and can’t stop listening.  If you listen, you’ll notice that Bob Dylan was clearly an influence on his music.
